This site is really just for everything and anything roleplay-related. I'm going to try to spread the peace and love that we're all aiming for on roleplay, but it's not just another site like With Love (and, fyi, this site existed before that one). They're an amazing site, but we aren't the same. My goal is to focus on looking at reality and realizing what can be achieved an what can't. A lot may be based on personal opinion, as well; so feel free to disagree. Chances are, you won't be wrong either.

I’ve listened to nothing but A7X today.

It’s all over the place now. I’m sure you’ve heard it, too. If you haven’t, well then… stop living under that rock. I’m sure Patrick Star’s dick can find someone else.

But really, 2009 is just all about killing our beloved celebrities, isn’t it? First Michael Jackson, then Brittany Murphy, and we all thought that was it. We were all ready for 2010.

But death wasn’t.

It had to take one more, just to bring the year to a close. And it thought James Sullivan would be perfect. Known to us as “The Rev,” his stage name, Sullivan was one of the greatest drummers to exist in the world of rock music. Now we’ve lost him, to so-called “natural causes.” Drug abuse? Expected, from someone in that kind of industry. Death due to drug abuse? Uncalled for. Nobody really expected it. Just like nobody expected MJ’s sudden ambulance rush, Brittany Murphy’s cardiac arrest. Just 72 hours before the discovery of The Rev’s dead body, we were all tearing wrapping paper off of boxes and pulling out cash in twenty- or fifty-dollar bills. Ready for the big apple to drop, preparing our resolutions in the back of our minds. This wasn’t supposed to happen. Personally, I wasn’t one of those die-hard they-saved-my-life Avenged Sevenfold bands. But their music truly deserved making the charts, winning awards, unlike most mainstream and popular stuff we see and hear today. Blinded in Chains was worth listening to; Sieze the Day touched people’s hearts. And Sullivan was part of this magic. The talent and skill he contributed can never and will never be replaced by anyone new to A7X, if the band resolves to continue their career after the loss of their brother. Some say Jimmy was “the life of the party” for Avenged. Most understand that their music will never be the same. We can do nothing. Only mourn, only put City of Evil on repeat and pay our respects.

Rest In Peace, James “The Rev” Sullivan. You will be sorely missed.
